Mika J. Cross is a seasoned Workplace Transformation Strategist specializing in innovative global workplace initiatives, culture change, strategic communications, knowledge management, next generation/future workplace predictions, mobility and flexible work policy, diversity, inclusion and employee engagement. She also has led several workforce transformation initiatives resulting in winning the organizations she has worked for numerous industry awards- the most recent being USDA named on the Forbes 500 Best American Workplace rankings in March 2015. Mika was awarded the Fed50 “Most Inspiring Up-and-Comer” award, the Federal News Radio “Causey Award” as well as a Next Gen Gov public service award. In 2013 she was named a ‘Work-Life Rising Star’ by WorldatWork’s Alliance for Work-Life Progress. Her 18-year career in public service includes assignments throughout the United States Intelligence Community and across the Federal government. She is a veteran of the United States Army, having served as both an enlisted soldier and commissioned officer. Mika currently serves as Government Chair of the Human Capital Shared Interest Group (HC-SIG) for the American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Panel (ACT-IAC) and as a Board member for WorldatWork’s Alliance for Work/life Progress (AWLP).

Sue E. Nicholas serves LMI as Program Director, Organizational and Human Capital Solutions Group where she is responsible for the development, management, and execution of projects assisting federal agencies in responding to critical organizational and human capital challenges. Ms. Nicholas is an organizational development specialist who brings more than 20 years of consulting experience leading intelligence, defense, civil, and private organizations through significant transition and achieving results. She has advised organizations in areas of strategic planning, organizational assessments, change management, communications, leadership development, risk mitigation, performance management, training and development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Mrs. Nicholas is an Associate Certified Coach. She has provided leadership coaching to private and public sector leaders in addition to establishing coaching programs for emerging leaders. Ms. Nicholas has spoken at conferences on various human capital issues such as workforce planning and talent management. She also participates in various Advisory Boards.
Mrs. Nicholas has broad experience across the federal government, large firms and start-up companies. Before joining LMI, she was a computer program developer for Veterans Health Administration, a financial analyst for Texas Instruments, an organizational development consultant for American Management Systems and a customer relationship management and change management consultant for Marketing One-to-One. She holds a master’s in business administration from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s of science in computer information systems, Thomas College.
